£150.00

January 2nd 2021

Original painting ; acrylic on Archers

Painted January/February 2021 during the UKs final Covid-19 lockdown.

As an artist who is usually very concerned with structure and detail, who takes an ordered approach to their work, it was interesting to work more loosely and freely. Each painting an exercise in mark making and speed, allowing the roses to come together quickly through the suggestion of shapes rather than details.

Each painting is signed and numbered in pencil.

10 x 7 inches / Arches paper
